Teresa Morisco, Personal Colorist + Style Consultant

Teresa is a nationally recognized personal colorist, style consultant, trainer, speaker and author.  She is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of Wardrobe 911, a company that brings style and wardrobe advice to women through their Stylist Collective and Style Blog which has been rated as one of the top 25 fashion blogs on the Internet. She is also the Executive Director of the Wardrobe 911 Style Institute, the first online interactive learning environment for personal stylists.

As a former retailer and buyer of women’s ready-to-wear fashion, Teresa has worked with hundreds of individuals to enhance their image and project their best selves both socially and professionally. Her studies and research on personal coloring led her to develop the Wardrobe 911 Personal Color System which is focused on applying color theory to bring out an individual’s personal coloring and beauty versus the “in-a-box” seasonal approach.

Before she started reviving wardrobes in 2004, Teresa enjoyed 15 successful years as an award-winning brand and image marketer for clients such as Visa, Wells Fargo, AOL, Intuit and Levi Strauss. She has been formally trained in image, color analysis, sewing + garment construction, retail buying/merchandising, public speaking and communications. She holds a B.S. in International Marketing with a minor in Art History and is a provisional member of the International Association of Color Consultants/Designers (IACC-NA.)

Ms. Morisco is the author of the Wardrobe 911 Recipe Box and the editor of Wardrobe 911’s popular Style Blog. She has appeared as the fashion expert on the morning Fox & Friends show and has been featured in various publications including the Chicago Sun-Times, Contra Costa Times, 7×7, Paper City, Daily Candy and the San Francisco Chronicle. Along with her private and corporate clientele, Teresa has worked with KQED television since 2005 and has styled Jacques Pepin for his series, More Fast Food My Way and Leslie Sbrocco of the Emmy Award winning PBS series show Check, Please! Bay Area.

Teresa recently moved to San Luis Obispo from San Francisco and provides individual client services on the Central Coast and online. She travels nationwide to speak about how to harness your personal style.
